bulletHow to find us:

St. Mark’s Church is situated at the junction of Canterbury Street and the High Street, where Canterbury Street meets Skinner Street. Post Code: ME7 5TP

St. Mark’s Church Parish Office is on the Old Vicarage site with parking for the Church, which is a short walk down Canterbury Street from the Old Vicarage site.
Post Code: ME7 5JA

bullet Coming by road:  Approaching from the M2

Leave at junction 4 (A278) sign posted Gillingham 
(leaving at junction 3 will involve you in traffic delays in Chatham)
Join the A2 and follow all signs for Gillingham.
At fourth set of traffic lights (discounting pedestrian crossings) turn right into Canterbury Street.
Take-left hand fork after approx. 400yds (Canterbury Street).  
Note that right of way is for traffic coming from the right. Continue for ¾ mile.
Vicarage Road is a left-hand turn opposite the Beacon Court Tavern.
Entrance to the Vicarage Road site is approx. 50 yards on the left.

 
bulletApproaching from the Medway Tunnel (Chatham Maritime):

Follow signs for Gillingham.
Take 3rd turning on the left - Stafford Street.
Turn Right into College Avenue and Left into Vicarage Road.
The Vicarage Road site is on the right-hand side of the road.

 
bulletCar parking details:

There is some parking available on site (with careful parking, a maximum of 25 cars).
Between 8.00am & 7.30pm street parking is restricted to 1 hour only in nearby streets.
Street parking is available in Copenhagen Road, Trafalgar Street,  Waterloo Road and Stafford Street.  
This again can be restricted as above.

 
bulletPublic Car Parks are available at:
Balmoral Gardens, Black Lion Leisure Centre (Mill Road).
 
bullet Coming by train:

There is a fast train service from London Victoria, leaving at 5 minutes past each hour and arriving in Gillingham at 51 minutes past each hour.  A slightly slower service leaves at 35 minutes past each hour and arrives in Gillingham at 22 minutes past each hour. Vicarage Road is approximately 10 minutes walk from the station.  Walk up Balmoral Road.  Turn right into Trafalgar street, Vicarage Road is diagonally opposite the Canterbury Street end of Trafalgar Street.
