The picture (above left), is a picture of the Vicarage when
it was the Vicar's home,
taken in the 1950s.
The Parsonage (Old Vicarage) was originally purchased on the 11th
September 1875 from
Mr. & Mrs. Robert Lawrence.
The picture (above right) is a picture of the 'Old' Vicarage taken
2001.
It shows
a lot of modernisation,
most of which was done by the members of St. Mark's. It is now the
Parish Office and meeting rooms. It has taken over from the original Parish
meeting room, which we
believe was the Vicarage Hall in the 1950s.
(see lower down). |
