information about St. Mark's Commercial School, what they would
be taught and how much it
would cost. Rev. Alfred Willis, was the Vicar.
The Master, was Mr. John Bush. The school opened in 1864, with the aim of
furnishing a Liberal
English and Commercial Education on a sound religious basis,
in accordance with the teaching
of the English Church.
I like this picture, (above six), again, taken from a newspaper. It looks like a regular
