Little Theatre - Chatham - Official Site - Tel: +44 01634 326188
- Box office +44 01634 400322 - Medway Little Theatre is situated in historic
Rochester, at the heart of the new Medway Authority in North Kent UK. It was
converted from a disused warehouse into a 108-seat theatre in 1958. In 1995 we
acquired the freehold to our premises with the aid of a generous grant from
the old Rochester City Council. We are now in our 42nd season, a
fully-equipped public theatre, with over 300 productions behind us. |

Medway
Towns - Information and places of interest - The Medway Towns has a wealth
of historical sites. The City of Rochester is dominated by the Norman Castle
and Cathedral.
Many of the local buildings are featured in Charles
Dickens novels as it was here that he chose to make home until his death
at nearby Gads Hill in 1870. Visit the Dickens Centre at Eastgate
House, or the Guildhall
Museum, both in Rochester High Street. Chatham has a delicate mix of
modern and ancient architecture. Alongside one of the finest shopping
areas in the region is the Napoleonic Fort
Amherst, World Naval
Base and the Theatre
Royal. |
