COURSE PROGRAMME

16 APRIL – 25 JUNE 2008

Christianity Explored is a ten week discipleship course based on Mark’s Gospel which will be lead by Canon John Saunders.  The course consists of Bible studies, DVDs and group discussions.  The first six weeks will focus on who Jesus is and why he came.  In particular, course participants will be invited to explore the problem of sin and the wonder of forgiveness.  During the Saturday Away Day participants will discover the importance of the church, the Holy Spirit, prayer and the Bible.  The final four weeks will emphasize Christ’s call in Mark 8:34 – “if anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up the cross and follow me “.

All sessions will take place in the Old Vicarage between 7.30 - 9.45pm on Wednesday evenings on the dates below unless otherwise stated.  Details of the Away Day will follow.

It would be much appreciated if you could register your attendance for the course or in advance of any of the individual sessions by completing a Course Registration Form or contacting the Church Administrator – Mrs Pam Alexander at the Church Office in the Old Vicarage or by telephone on Medway (01634) 570489.
Please click here for a typical evening programme.

You can download a registration form here - A course programme here

You can return your completed form by email to CE08(at)stmarkschurchgillingham.co.uk or by hand to Robin or John in Church or by hand or post to the Parish Office.
