The church is not a building, it is us, the people. The building is
simply the place where the church meets. However, our life is much more than
meeting together on Sundays.
Jesus taught us that, as
Christians, his Father is also our Father, and so we are his brothers and
sisters together in God's family. Since St. Mark's is a family of over two hundred, we are
divided up into a number of Home Groups, each having between ten and
fifteen members. Each
group meets once a week in order to study the Bible together and to support and care for
one another.
As well as supporting one
another we believe that God commands us to go out to others with his message and his love.
Besides our home groups
there are other groups that meet during the week.
These include groups for mothers and toddlers, women at home during the day, youth, men etc.
